Saturday 30th August
Kent League Division 2

Welling United 3
Herne Bay 1

Another game of two halves only reversed in this case. Ross Brown headed in for Bay to lead 1-0 but Welling soon got back level then took the lead from the spot.
The final goal came late in the day when Bay were chasing the game.
A story of missed chances though in the second half this time.
Deery's heroics in goal left him with an injured elbow which will be receiving treatment at Margate Hospital (probably some time tomorrow knowing how the Saturday sports-injury waiting list is).
